WELCOME TO KHAO LUCK, a peaceful seaside town in the southern part of Thailand. Khao Luck is known for its beautiful sandy beaches and clear blue waters, popular amongst tourists seeking a quiet and relaxing holiday away from the bustling beaches and immense night life of nearby Phuket island. Unlike other tourist destinations in southern Thailand, Khao Luck is relatively unaffected by the negative impact of tourism. The beaches are beautiful and the atmosphere is alive with the warm presence of southern Thai culture. Known as the “untouched paradise” of the south, some tourists choose to visit Khao Luck as a part of their holiday plan, to engage in more nature-oriented activities such as snorkelling in the clear Khao Luck waters that boast of a vibrant aquatic life. It also gives visitors an opportunity to meet like-minded people, whether during trekking in its lush, evergreen forests, or having a relaxing drink on its quiet beaches. Many visitors choose to include a day visit to the Similan Islands, which are well known snorkelling locations. Khao Lak can be spelled in a few different ways, such as Khao Luck or Khao Luk.
The easiest way to get to Khao Luck from Bangkok is to catch a flight to Phuket International airport. Khao Luck is a one hour drive from the airport, and many transportation services, ranging from affordable public vans to private taxi services are available, which take you directly to your hotel.
